Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
... On our trails for Christmas
... So you can go sledding
There is something magical about December in the Arctic.
The landscape is covered in snow, the air is crisp and pure, and the world seems to slow down. As our eager sled dogs pull you gently into the winter wilderness, you leave the everyday behind and enter a world of snow-covered mountains, quiet trails and endless white.
You hear the soft sound of paws moving through the snow. You feel the cold Arctic air on your cheeks. You see the dogs running happily ahead, doing what they love. And somehow, in that moment, there is nowhere else you need to be.
Dog sledding is more than an adventure. It is a feeling — the feeling of being completely surrounded by nature, connected to the dogs, and present in the moment.
This Christmas, why not give yourself — or someone special — a gift that cannot be wrapped?
Give the gift of an Arctic adventure.
A memory. A feeling. A moment to remember long after the snow has melted.
Come and experience the magic of dog sledding in December, here on beautiful Kvaløya, just outside Tromsø.
Some gifts are opened. Others are experienced.
Experience the magic of dog sledding in Northern Norway
December is one of the most magical times to experience dog sledding in Tromsø. As the Arctic landscape around Kvaløya is covered in snow and the days are wrapped in the beautiful blue light of the Polar Night, our happy alaskan huskies are ready to take you out on an unforgettable winter adventure.
Located in Straumsbukta on Kvaløya, just outside Tromsø, our small and personal kennel is home to around 50 friendly and energetic huskies. For us, dog sledding is not simply a tourist activity — it is a way of life and a chance to share our love for these amazing dogs and the Arctic nature we call home.
A personal dog sledding experience
We believe the best experiences are personal. That is why our dog sledding tours are limited to a maximum of 8 guests per group.
With smaller groups, there is time to slow down, connect with the dogs and truly enjoy the experience. You will get a more personal introduction to our huskies, learn about life with a sled dog team and have the opportunity to experience the quiet beauty of the Arctic wilderness without feeling like part of a large tour group.
As you glide along the snowy trails behind a team of eager huskies, you will hear their paws moving through the snow, feel the crisp Arctic air on your face and watch the dogs run with the joy and energy they were born for.
For a moment, everything else disappears.
