Flexible cancellation policy autumn/winter
We know life and plans can change so we offer a flexible cancellation policy for our tours:
- You are able to change your booking (depending on availability) up to 48 hours prior for free.
- If you cancel any tour latest 48 hours before the departure time/activity date you will receive 100% refund.
- If you cancel any tour less than 48 hours before then you will not receive a refund.
It is important to mention that we cannot refund or change bookings within 48 hours of the departure time if you get injured, fall sick or have any flight disruptions or cancellation. Please make sure that you have a travel insurance to cover in above mentioned matters.
Cancellation due to bad weather
There is a risk of bad weather conditions due to our operations taking place in the Arctic. If we find the weather or conditions on the trails unsafe for staff, dogs and guests Kvaløya Adventure have the right to cancel the activity. We will make sure to inform you a soon as possible and you will receive a full refund.
Missed departures
Please note that it is important to be on time for your booked activity. We ask our guests to be at the pick up location latest 10 minutes prior depature time to be ready for the pick up.
As a guest it is your responsibility to be on time and to identify yourself to our bus driver and/or other staff. If you miss the transfer to our kennel you as a guest is reponsible for the cost for the transport to get to our kennel. The cost for this is non-refundable. The same applies if you do not reach the kennel in time.
Refund process
Kvaløya Adventure processes the refunds to the credit cards used for the bookings. There might be a variation in the exchange rate at the time of cancellation. Kvaløya Adventure are not responsible for fluctations in the currency exchange rate. After the refund has been made from our side it may take up to 5-7 business days to receive the refund. This depends on your bank.
